Meat
Did anyone catch Torchwood a few weeks back? You know the episode with the giant space whale in the warehouse? Worst CGI monster since the Sci-Fi Channel's last movie of the week. But there was this little moment I found amusing. It's framed too perfectly in the shot for it to be a coincidence.
The episode was called "Meat" and that's what it was about.

Uh uh. I caught it too.
This was definitely the worst episode of a shaky season so far (of only 7 episodes, I know). I'll give them props for taking some big chances, but bringing in a character from Dr. Who, appropriating the whole Dawn/Where did you come from? storyline from Buffy and "killing off" a main character is all smacking a little bit of trying too hard.
I refuse to watch any more Torchwood, and I stopped watching at episode 9 of the first series. Just because it's set in the Whoniverse isn't enough to make me sit through Russel T. Davies trying and failing to be Joss Whedon.
