Better than coffee

Yes, road construction is a pain. But it has one fringe benefit: hunky construction workers. Sure brightens up my morning commute.

Tsk tsk, Eric. Those are hard working professionals dedicated to making the roadways safe and smooth for the rest of us. They deserve your gratitude and respect, not your drooling.

Now, where are they, exactly? And when are the best times to drool... er, I mean, show my gratitude?

Oh, I'm very greatful. And they've got nothing but respect from me.

Springfield west of Prospect, and Green in front of the Union. Early morning.

Perhaps the two of you should buy them some breakfast. Just try not to drool in it. It kills the presentation.

I've never appreciated the overall physical ruggedness of the male construction worker.

The Village People look never really did anything for me.

As it so happens, my favorite Village People/Person was David Hodo... the construction worker. Raise your hand if you're surprised.

There's the idea of a hunky construction worker, and the reality of a construction worker. I think Sex in the City did a show on the same thing, but with firemen. Sigh.
